UAB Master’s and Postgraduate teaching involves academics, professionals and institutions from outside the university to ensure that the programmes have the practical focus required by the labour market.
For the Master’s degree, students must complete 60 ECTS credits, whereas for the Postgraduate diploma, the requirement is 33 ECTS. In both programmes, students must take the core modules: Module 1 (Introduction to Contemporary Migration) and Module 2 (Public Policy and Diversity Management). However, only the Master’s students are required to complete Module 9 (Research Methodology in Migration) and Module 10 (Master’s Dissertation).
No, it is not necessary to have your degree from a non-EU university officially recognised (homologated). To find out about the rest of the documentation you must submit at the time of pre-enrolment, please follow this link.
Timetable and Class Days Structure: Both the Master’s and the Postgraduate programmes have classes three days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 16:00 to 20:00. The format for both is exclusively face-to-face.
Subject Structure – Monthly Format: The duration of the 6 ECTS subjects or modules is monthly. This means that, over the course of a month, you will focus exclusively on a single module. For instance, if Module 3 (Innovative Migration Management) is taught in January, this will be the only module you study throughout that month.
