Objective
The DEPART project focuses on the inclusion of migrants and refugees in four European areas (Piraeus-GR, Avezzano-IT, Girona-SP, Oborishte-BG) through the creation of a structured and formalised method for consulting migrants on policies, following the Self-Advocacy Team (SAT) model. It includes action-research on the policy-making system regarding the representativeness and mobilisation of migrants and refugees, the empowerment of local communities to establish local SATs, and the implementation of policy consultations between SATs and policy-makers.
